A proposal was developed by C. Allen Mullins Architect for the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA during a design-build team selection process. Architect Mullins suggested that a second floor be constructed on to the existing building. This would have added the additional floor space required in the program and an open area for the construction of a rock climbing facility. Unfortunately, the proposal was not selected.
