The program developed by an existing congregation required that a building be build in two stages on an undeveloped site. The first half of a one and a half story building would be constructed and later, as the congregation grows, a second half would be completed. The first half of the building did not include the transept and spire at the intersection of the nave and transept. Unfortunately the construction of the building was started with a very low budget and an attempt to build the building themselves resulted in a parting from the original plans.
