Eastampton, NJ
1991
C. Allen Mullins Architect was architect of record for the Warehouse and Showroom in Eastampton, New Jersey while. The use of arched laminated wood beams to make the building appear barnlike was the client, James Harkins', idea since the product market is local farmers. The plan was developed to Mr. Harkins program by Michael Weida an associate and partner at time that this project was executed.
The most successful part of the project was the showroom because the bent laminated wood arches created interesting space for the retail portion of the business. In the warehouse storage was limited near the outside walls because of the arched structure.
