The Lourie apartment, located at 1040 Park Avenue was part of a larger apartment divided after World War II into smaller living spaces. Adjacent to the Lourie's newly acquired apartment were main quarters, creating a more spacious area with better circulation flow. The apartment was redesigned and executed by C. Allen Mullins Architect.
