A family of four requested the design for a great room addition that could be the center for activities without a disconnection from the rest of the house. A visually and compatible roof will blend with the existing home allowing a light filled space enhanced by the dormer windows which supplement the light and views afforded by the eye-level windows. The demanding roof design constructed with the use of prefabricated trusses creates a visually interesting exterior roofline and interior ceiling. A corner fireplace helps to ensure a cozy and inviting family space even during the typical Northeast winters.
