OAKLAND CEMETERY SALES OFFICE / MAINTENANCE FACILITY

The site placement of the structures solved the functional and context issues of the design for an urgently needed new sales office, public comfort facilities & maintenance facility at the entrance of an historic cemetery in Yonkers, New York.  The new design increased visibility and added formality to the existing elegant cemetery entrance.  The small complex addition is weaved into the existing stone entrance and ninetieth century caretaker’s house.
