Founder and proprietor of the firm, C. Allen Mullins’ diverse experience provides a great benefit to the office and has had a great influence on his approach to design. Having studied under Fay Jones and Sybil Moholy Nagy and practiced architecture in several firms including some of the greats such as Edward Durell Stone, Edward Larrabee Barnes and Walter Gropius at TAC, The Architects Collaborative, Allen brings the influence of these 20th Century greats to the table combined with his own philosophies and professional development further influencing the other team members at the firm.

Rick Malcolm is fascinated with transformation in architecture and how kinetic elements used in architecture create a unique connection between the user and their environment. Malcolm pays meticulous attention to construction details and materiality within his work while trying to create architecture that is both aesthetically and experientially influenced by his architectural theories and educational practices.

Brian’s design focus is on context and the careful manipulation of scale, materials, and forms to create desirable accommodation of human activities. In other words, his focus is on creating environments that people want to be in. Having traveled extensively and observed the characteristics that make up successful environments he has developed a palette of elements, material, and texture to employ in design.

OTHER PERSONNEL
Brian Davis
Brian Davis joined the firm in 2004. He assists in drafting, design, research, model building, field work and construction services. Mr. Davis graduated from Luzerne County Community College in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Architecture. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor Degree in Architecture at Norwich University. Mr. Davis has a background in construction and fire safety, which has been valuable to his role at C. Allen Mullins Architect.
Lindsey Pitten
Lindsey Pitten joined the firm in 2008. She assists in financial and clerical management of the office. Ms. Pitten graduated from Summa cum Laude from Pace University in 2007 with a Bachelor Degree in both Business Management and Finance. Her years of experience as an office assistant provide valuable skills to her role at C. Allen Mullins Architect.
One Chansavath
One ‘Noy’ Chansavath joined the firm in 2008. As an intern she assists in drafting and research. She is currently attending Norwich University and working towards her Bachelor Degree in Architecture.
